Vulnerability Analysis and Assessment

  • Conduct a risk analysis to identify the most probable threats to your personnel and business facilities
  • Evaluate the present environmental security and controls to determine their effectiveness against potential threats.

 

Business Impact Analysis

Conduct a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for each business unit which serves to: 

  • Identify and prioritize critical business functions
  • Determine the dollar-value business impact of a disaster
  • Defines the Recovery Time Objective (RTO) or the measure of tolerance of critical business functions
  • Create the disaster recovery profile
  • Identification of critical business information
  • Provide financial justification to prepare business units for business continuity.

 

Continuity Strategy and Recommendations

  • Evaluate the technical recovery requirements in support of the business continuity requirements (profiles) developed from the BIA
  • Propose and review various short and long-term business recovery strategies with cost-benefit analysis and recommendations

 

Disaster Recovery  Plan Development

Once a suitable business recovery strategy is agreed upon, KCA will provide the subject matter expertise, methodology and leadership to document a set of technical and business recovery plans including the senior executive Crisis Management and Emergency Response plans.

 

Disaster Recovery Plan  - Testing, Training and Maintenance

KCA will establish a methodology for plan validation through testing and train of client staff for self-sufficiency in the plan maintenance cycle. Techniques will also be introduced to reflect IT and business configuration changes in the recovery profile.

 

Training and Awareness Program

  • Conduct training sessions for BCP Team members in the disaster recovery process
  • Train personnel who need to respond immediately in an emergency
  • Provide BCP awareness to general staff who do not have an immediate business continuity role.
